Refractory Linning Repairs at Cleveland Potash

Churchill Refurbishment have now completed Refractory Repairs on a dryer unit at Cleveland Potash using gunite spray material. Works consisted of 3No courses of bricks laid at the mouth of the firing chamber and then sprayed with cementitious grout capable of withstanding 1300o. At the extreme mouth of the fire box the spraying finished approx. 25mm short of the existing steel plate. Please see before and after photos
